Uneventful day..muses..grinz..

Haha..wonder how many more subscribers i have now that i so shamelessly broadcast and advertise my blog to more of my friends? haha..*grinz*

Yepp..as mentioned in the title, today was more of less uneventful, except that i went Sim Lim to shop for my 21st birthday prezzie from my mom..haha..kinda wierd, more like she gimme money to buy wad i want..but just in case you readers out there dun know me yet, i dun really appreciate gifts that much..or i should say my standard for gifts is much higher..haha..i really dun like people giving me things to satisfy themselves..aka a nice paper weight = lousy and unthoughtful gift. A good gift is one that some1 needs, some1 wants, but to stingy to spend money to buy for him/her self. An example of a good gift is the Silver Capo i bought for HanZhong [bought with daph and Waynez]. It's something that struck me that Hanzhong would have wanted, would need, will use frequently, but he just forgets to buy, and if he buys he'd prolly buy a cheap one like me. So i bought him a nice looking one that is about mid-range. And he loved it, and he's using it. Yep..that's a good gift..

So therefore there is little good gifts that can be given to me..haha..unless you know me really well..like maybe a good acoustic guitar? haha..but i'm getting over there in USA le..or the notebook i'm passing around for my Cell group to write on? if i did not initiate it, it would be a great gift for me..haha..catch my drift? it muz be something I appreciate..not someth that some1 else appreciates and tink i should appreciate as well..it does not work that way people..haha..yepp..so that's why i dun usually do gifts for people cos i can only do it for really close friends in my life. yepps..so if you actually get a gift from me, that'll really mean how much you mean to me..haha..

yepps..back to the story, i was at Sim Lim shopping around for a Creative Muvo Slim 1Gb..WOW! it's like 0.7mm thick and as big as a credit card! haha..and 1 Gb means that i have 500 songs there! what more can i ask? on top of that, my Zen Micro totally spoil le, can only be plugged into the USB power plug then it works normally [dun even ask why] so i'll bring it over as a radio [of cos muz but a nice speaker to go with it too..haha..] yepp..and i'll use the Muvo Slim as my mobile music maker! haha..totally excited about having an Mp3 that will play for several hours without hanging..and i found a deal for it at Half the price i saw on the net! that's like totally cool! haha..thank God for open doors and opportunities! and a new changed me who actually shopped around all the stores in Sim Lim looking for it and actually turned down an offer for $280..the deal i found was for a $140 new one..and the $280 one looks qt old..haha..yepps..

Anyway, guyz, if you are asking why i'm using such a old boring template, i muz say that this template actually suits me qt well..grown qt used to it already..haha..last night i was surfing blogskins.com and saw several cool ones..1 i particularly liked was the Serendipity blogskin..totally neat..and i tried to make it personalised to me..haha..like changing the Html coding and adding some stuff like changing my profile on it, and the auto-scrolling wordings into my introduction to my blog..but then i cannot find out how to add comments on the new blogskin..argh!...then i decided to use back my old one, and i found out how to add the links and friends' blog address to my blog! haha..then i steal from Manz blog [sorry!] those common friends we have and add to my blog list..haha..totally fun..

I have a confession to make..i actually have been telling everyone that i'm going michigan university, telling them that it's a cold place, with a great reputation for the degree i'm pursuing there, but actually i still cannot picture myself there..kinda like my life ends on the 24th august when i'm taking the 645am flight..still cannot see beyond that at all..haha..so i'll keep praying to God to give me a vision of what is to come, to prepare my heart for studies, and to give me the flexibility to adapt to the situation. Yes..that's it for today guyz.
